depends what it is and how hard it has been to sell, for me it was a gutter when I sold..

My FRST - wasn't 100% about selling and was gutted to see it go
My first S1, looked awesome as it drove off and loved it.
My second S1 - sold it due to lack of use and it looked stunning as it dissapeared around the corner with the new owner smiling ear to ear.

But had a host of others cars that i didn't bat an eyelid over as there was i was taking a step up on the next car or already had the next car.

We did a part x on the BMW mate, I paid £250 for it from memory and I lost money on that cab as it was fucked when I sold it to Bamo as it had that small wheel bearing problem

when i sold my saff was the only time i've been gutted; mainly because i put so much time & effort into it

the bloke who bought it drove it back to Norway; he wanted me to show him to the motorway junction so i drove my other car and he followed me; when he knew where he was you hammered past me like i was stood still - it sounded awesome on full chat! i missed it instantly!!!!

hey that car was MINT when i got it !!!

it never broke down apart from running out of fuel,,,,,, hey you even got the mondeo rims off my tennis cabrio with that,,, 90 spec recaro seats,, power roof, heated screen and spax suspension ( though ill admit it could have done with a set of top mounts)

there was a starter motor issue,, just needed some threadlock

ok ill confess,,,,, i killed that car but at the time i was earning 9k a year working at halfords running a cossie and a escort cabrio,,,,, what fucking chance did it have !!!

Was this a different car to the one you sold me?
It had totally fucked Gmax shocks and a manual roof. Still got the passenger 90 spec in my mk1 though

Worse car I ever owned, happy to see that scrapped.

Was gutted to watch my Fiesta RS Turbo drive off up the road with the new owner. The bitch talked me into selling up and I was hoping I would get a chance to get out of it while the advert was up but the first guy that came and looked took her away. In hindsight I should have kept the car and sold the woman instead. Car turned out to be far more faithfull to me

i had a old corrado once, it was slow, leaked oil and water, drank juice but the bodywork was absolutely mint and i paid virtually bugger all for it and for some reason that i cant put my finger on i loved it, i used to get chufties every day with it, its the only car ive ever enjoyed cleaning and polishing. I wasnt even selling it but was offered a stupid amount of money by some bloke in the street and couldnt turn it down. When the bloke came to pick it up he brought his 17 year old younger brother with him as he was buying it for him. As it turned out he had already written off one corrado and the younger brothers first comments were "yeah man lick wicked, will look ace once slammed and kitted" and i was like nooooooo ! Nearly did cry as he wheel spun up the road !

As highlighted above i think a lot also depends on who buys it! Have to say ive been lucky there, all of the cars ive sold have gone to people im happy to sell. Saying that, most of the cars ive sold ive only done so as they are broken! But you still get that horrible feeling and think of all the good times you had with them as you see them driven, well, trailered, away!
