Default Codiene - failure inside.

Got really bad toothache, panadol stopped working so bought some super strong over-the-counter stuff. It has codiene in it.

its made me feel sleepy, and really light headed, and i keep feeling different parts of my body go numb. Also got constipation.

But guess what ? I still have raging toothache

Any alternatives ? I cant afford the £300 to have it done (well i can but dont want to) and im not going to an nhs.

Sadly its a molar somewhere i cant even reach, so i cant simply pull it out!

Im allergic to Codiene, but i find the next best thing is take 2 paracetamol, and 2 ibuprofen! you can combine the two, and they work really well together!

I conquered toothache by going to the dentists in Argentina! The bloke made such a fucking hole of removing an over-errupted wisdom tooth he broke my jaw. He then got stuck right in and injected anasthetic into the nerve bundles to stop me going bat-shit. No toothache since No nerves

Apply clove oil to it. That'll numb the pain in an instant.

clove oil can cause organ failure, fuck that!

I dont have any ibruprofen!

And im scared of the dentist, i have a really good one (and expensive) but they wont gas me 'cos of the risk. The fucking 6 inch needle they use hurts but more painfully my jaw locks up and then aches for days after. I think i need a root extraction too. He noticed the hole 6 months ago and booked me in, but for some reason (after 5 sucessfull fillings) i bottled it.

I just cant stand having things in my mouth. I wouldnt make a very good homosexual

it was always the needle that bothered me to but for the first time ib years i have been back to the dentist,,the old butcher is gone and replaced by a hispanic dude.

he is fucking awesome, never felt a thing yet! he massages the gum on the way in,i swear i feel nothing bar a little bit of an aching jaw 3-4hrs later.

as said, use clove oil,my dad doesn't like the dentist and swears by it!

Clove oil did fook all for me when I had tooth ache, tastes like shit too.

I had a big tooth taken out on Jan the 5th and the hole has only just healed up. The pain my tooth gave me would keep me awake all night, would often punch myself in the face to try and knock it out.

Get down the quacks and ask for some Solpadol, 2 for break, 2 for lunch and 2 for tea and 2 before bed, it will take about 2-3 hours to get into your system but once it does you shouldn't be in pain anymore.

P.S make sure he gives you the maxi strength ones too

Big-Dan.

Try biting a paracetemol and keep your jaw locked to compress it, works for an hours of so. Tastes rank.

Clove oil is hit an miss, only really works if the hole is big enough.

Tooth ache is THE worst pain i've ever had. Much worse than a broken ankle

+1 as stupid as it sounds if you had a bit of spare time off work i'd go on holiday and have it done somewhere else , i was on holiday in malia had really bad tooth ache (needed a root canal) couldn't sleep properly or think straight tried to last the holiday cos was wary of having summit done abroad but i have to admit it put english dentists to shame got it done on holiday insurance cost me about £50 excess.

i never felt anything he was quite precise about the injections and really good tidy work i never felt a thing even when he was digging around pulling my root out , i had to have it finnished off over here and every time i went it hurt and they never seem to numb it like he did .

I have a hole in my tooth and get pain from it now and again , the over the counter co codamol didnt work but my doctor gave me a script for ones that contain higher codeine

They took the pain away no bother but sometimes made me feel sick or wasted but that still better than the pain

Really need to go to the dentist , I have dental insurance too but am scared stiff of them , really bad experience when I was younger.

I now have an NHS dentist who is ten times better than the give-you-work-you-dont-need ripoff private guy.

Try NHS if you can get one mate. Very different to years gone by I'm sure

So can a unchecked tooth infection believe it or not, get to the dentist mate seriously. Same as you, it scares the hell out of me, I have had to have a lot of serious work done and its always worried me. But get a good dentist and they will see you right.

if its not working your body is getting used to it this is why u mix em up matey 2panadol then next time ud take another take a normal 500mg paracetamol instead

Clove oil works a treat. That and some amoxycillin i think it was were the only things that stopped me climbing the walls.

Toothache is the worst pain ever. Bar a rugby player kickin' you in the spuds.

3 teeth took out, 2 fillings and some work to my jaw bone only cost me 92 quid on the nhs, if you dont want to pay for it go to the dental hospital and you get it done for free cos its students who need the practice lmao
