Im not aying padding would have saved his life, what im getting at is there was no safety equipment at all, at least if there was some padding or something, it would show there was an effort made, not just bare metal girders, behind a very low wall/banking, on a very fast corner.

Yeah .. I see the point of view ... They shouldnt make sure to cover all angles and make sure no one can be killed like that ...

It's a shame people can't seem to "anticipate" dangers, they only learn from tragic events.

Just like in the 60's when FIA thought hayballs were an appropriate way of stopping an F1 car...

i doubt ill be able to watch the winter olympics now after this....

American way of thinking ?, if i was american, id be screaming law suit, or blame canada (south park style), not safety
