Has anyone used this company? They're relatively close to me and I thought I'd see if anyone recommends them?

Totally fucked me over. Rob said he could fit an Apexi boost controller & new actuator to my Focus RS. Got there at 9;00 am, left at 7:30pm with a car that wouldn't boost properly. At that point he said he'd never done an Apexi before.

Next day checked actuator, one nut was half done up down the stud, t'other was just done up enough to engage with the shakeproof bit, hence the boost being all over the place as the actuator body was moving by about 10-15mm. Fixed that which made a massive improvement.

Took it to APT who are experienced with Apexi fitment due to their dealings with Jap stuff. Didnt tell 'em who fitted it and asked for their opinion. Their reply was it is the "worst fitment of an Apexi" they had seen. They completely removed it and re-fitted for me for a damn site less than SCC.

Just my experience tbh.

Not good, but I'd hardly say that he "totally fucked you over". Did you tell Rob when you found out?

There will always be mixed experiences with garages as it's unfortunately the nature of the game but from my experience Rob and Co are first class. They took my PTS fettled Escort RS Turbo and made it work properly and then built on that to give me what I have today. If it's a job I can't DIY SCC is the only place I would take the cars.

Thumbs up from me

Rob and the team at SCC have done a lot of work on my car they are one of only two places that my car ever goes to

As I always say somewhere along the line all traders at some point would have had a customer who was not happy for whatever reason
