Default Help sprayers out there

Im attempting to spray the floor of my 3dr track car its going to be black.

its down the bare metal now so im going to put seam sealer on the joints.

i have some hi build primer for gun and some 2k paint.

is it just a case of spraying the primer on floor or does it worth putting red oxide down first.?

if its down to bare metal its best to put a coat of acid etch primer on first then put on your other primer

exactly watch dooge says dude. You need an etchh primer down first not just for anti corrosion reasons also high build wont attach itself to bare metal properly. Best way for a floor is to buy half a litre with activator and lay it down with your spraygun. Somes etch's are better than others and you get what you pay for at the end of the day

Im wondering if you have an inline mask if your spraying 2 pack ????????
Ive just sprayed a 205 track car with cage and it got a bit full of overspray , and seeing how 2 pack sets like jelly a normal mask just wont cut the mustard ....
Also spray your etch primer on first , then seam seal it, then primer it , then top coat it ....

As mr yella says, etch prime it first, then seam seal, but get the sikaflex in the caulk gun type, not brush on from upol or 3m as it dont like etch or primer, it pickles up and sinks and cracks, horrid! then prime and paint. but as said an air fed mask is a must really for a job that big using 2k.
