im after fitting an adjustable boost controller to my mk1 frs.can anybody tell me whats the best one to get. how hard they are to fit and if i will have any problems running one cheers.
Why pay money for adjustable boost when you can make one yourself for a fraction of the costs????
You only need to interupt the amal valve signal to the ECU and it will then get lowered by the ECU.
Granted, its not adjustable as such but it still gives you the option of a two stage boost - Good enough for motorway or chilled out driving.
All you need is an Amal valve with the three tubes connected up, some jucntions blocks, some half decent insulated wire and a switch - al lthis for under a tenner!!!
Mine works perfect.
*****Ignore my above comments I read your post wrong, thought you were looking for two stage boost*****
