Default PF Pinot Grigio Drinkers!!......

We've found a nice Pinot Grigio we like at Sainsburys, it's normally £9.00 a bottle, but they often have it on offer for around £5.00 per bottle. It is the nicest Pinot we have had.

Anyway, we just went in for a bit of shopping and they have a deal on. We bought 6 bottles for £19!! Thats just a little over £3.00 per bottle for a £9.00 wine. Should have been £54 for 6 bottles!

Good saving I reckon and worthy of a heads-up IMO if you're a white wine drinker.

6 bottles will probably last us until Summer.

PMSL. I meant to add that. It's this one.....

You get 3 bottles for £10, but if you buy 6 you get a further 5% off, making it £19.00.

We get most of our wine from Costco or Macro - can anyone get you in there?

No, we buy it when it's on offer usually. We've tried lots of different wines and this is one we both really like. I don't mean its a wine that the experts say is wonderful, I mean its a wine that we LIKE to drink and I am pretty fussy when it comes to wine!!

I've never been that excited about Makro. Over-rated IMO and you can easily get equal/better bargains elsewhere without the agro or having to shop with the skanks you find in there.

Cool. It's the personal taste thing that a lot of people don't seem to understand.

I always try and avoid choosing the wine if we are out with a group because 9 times out of 10 there will be people who just don't like whatever you choose lol.

Makro - skanks? Not been going there long, it was just Costco for years - but never noticed anything other than the own business owner types.

The one we buy most at Costco is a pink one - Sutter Home White Zinfandel. It's usually around 5-6 quid in the shops, and £3.50ish there

Pinot Grigio is what we usually drink if I'm not on beer, so I will go get some of the Sainsburys one - cheers.

If you ever drink red, we were buying Pinot Noir - that was nice too.

There is a bar in town that has 'TIDDY WIDDY WELL'. Proper odd name, but really nice - its an Australian blend. If you see that for sale anywhere let me know!
