Default Prince2 project management qualification?

Is it worth doing? I can get the course for £200, just wondering if people who are in project management think it is of any use?

i'm not in project management myself but i know that you wouldn't be considered for a role as a PM where i work without prince2 qualification(s).... if nothing else it could be useful as a "foot in the door" kind of thing imo.

i did that one in the navy along with stupid city and guilds senior award. Not sure if they worth paper they written on unless youve got some industry relevant experience/examples of your skills to back it up.

Absolutely.......

I would not recommend it. There are alot of people doing this at the moment due to the job situation and alot just don't have any experience. It just won't be worth anything without the experience.

It all depends on what you want to get into.

Its not just about no experience. Eg i got loads of management experience in forces but it doesnt translate to civilian industry so its useless (especially maritime skills in stoke!).
