Hi all
Bad news tonight, came out the pub after playing pool & my vans been stolen
If anyone sees or heres anything let me know, its been reported to the police not that really makes a differents.
(Swansea area)

Sorry about your van, did it have any security on it ?
Anywhere I park I put up my disabled badge, to hopefully make it less appealing, as they may think no a disabled person wouldn't drive a cossie, but then mad grandad rod rather spoils my plan being a true car nutter!!

Really gutted this is the second mk4 van ive had stolen in 3yrs now the other was even cleaner than this never seen again 
No alarm fitted i was starting to collect parts to do a mk3 conversion on it & rs lump Cant see this one turning up either

Was just a 1.4cvh in it but the shell was really soild only one weld plate on the whole thing.
Mostly gutted about the rs 4 spoke i did buy it for the car (xr4i tt) but put it on the van while ive been finishing the car off

just a suggestion, but in light of this would it not be better if the administrators set up a 'stolen car/van' sticky? its been suggested before but nothing has been done about it i dont think

Had a call from the police this morning saying it had been found, went down to the yard to see the condition only to find out its been burnt :crying:
Got the insurance company coming over tomorrow truly gutted

I know the things gutted, but is it saveable? i.e. shot blast the shell, and get it changed over to mk3 while your at it? if the shell was rust free it might be an idea insurance co wouldnt want much for it?

Nice looking van fella, gutted for you. but i really dont see the point in nicking a 1.4 CVH van then burning it out after after a 'joyride', you can understand it when they nick a quick car to hoon about in, or they nick a performance car to strip, unless they used they used the van to rob somewhere that is. but as i said, gutted for you mate, looked well.
