Default Mobile Phone Help

Quick question for the people on here that know a bit about mobile phones...

...using an original Samsung Tocco, is there an option in the settings where you can block a persons number so they can't send text messages/make calls to your number??

Cheers,
Grant

Dont know, but if you ring your service provider they should be able to block it free of charge.

Its for a mate thats ex is giving him grief.. don't think he wants a permanent ban on her number. Long term, he wants to keep in contact with her, but at the moment he needs a bit of space so is wanting more of a selectable thing that he can toggle on and off through the handset himself.

Not sure then, but the service provider might be able to unblock aswell? its only going to take one free call to block and unblock. If theres no selectable option then he might have to do it that way, or not at all

Yea, think thats the last resort.. like I said, he wants to keep in contact with her, but at the moment she's a bit pissed off/upset about things finishing so anytime he tries to talk to her or she sends him messages then its the same old stuff about wanting him back etc that he gets.

So his plan is to block her off for a bit..

..then unblock her, send a test message to see if she's calmed down and moved on..

..then if she's still a bit of a loony, reblock. If she's not, then they can chat and be friends hopefully.

Cheers,
Grant

ive got a tocco and no there isnt that feature and the network wont block a number unless the police are involved as i was getting prank calls at one bit. all i did was just answer the call and leave it without saying anything. this way it wastes their credit and they soon get fed up
