Mondeo Zetec - Help
Hi
Newbie here -just joined so be gentle.
I have had a Black 2003 Mondeo Zetec 1.8 from new. I forgot to put oil in her and am sure the engine's blown. Anyway the car has been sat for over a year now and I need to do something about it. The car had flown through the MOT the week before this happened and had 4 new tyres too. Any helpful suggestions as to what to do e.g. put a used engine in (needs to be cheap), etc. would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for suggestions thus far but I already tried breakers nationally via websites when it happened and all I got was quotes of Ł800+ and then there would be shipping and fittiing costs on top making it not economically viable based on overall value of car. Engine is 1.8 duratec petrol on a 2003 model mondeo. I could never get a straight answer from any breaker regarding which engine/s would suit.

well if its not economically viable bying a second hand engine then youre left with 2 alternatives, scrap it (BREAK IT) or do the engine yourself,simples...
