Thanks for suggestions thus far but I already tried breakers nationally via websites when it happened and all I got was quotes of £800+ and then there would be shipping and fittiing costs on top making it not economically viable based on overall value of car. Engine is 1.8 duratec petrol on a 2003 model mondeo. I could never get a straight answer from any breaker regarding which engine/s would suit.
