Default M-Tech Automotive

Went round there today for the RR day and was surprised at how few cars had turned up. I was there early and had my power run but it was about 12:30 by the time I left and I was still the only person to turn up.

I just wanted to say how much a nice bloke matt is and that he seems to know what he is talking about and that he is very willing to help and just have a chat about your car and what you want to do to it.

Although I wasn’t totally happy with the power output of my car Matt explained to me that my AFR was extremely bad as it was running far too rich when on full throttle, but it just highlighted that I really do need to upgrade to an aftermarket ECU such as the V4.

Matt was very helpful in talking me through what would be needed and the advantages of what would be achieve with an aftermarket ECU.

I have now defiantly decided that I will get him to install his V4 ECU in my car.

I just wanted to say thank you again to Matt and that he is a great down to earth guy.

P.S. I hope a few more cars turned up today and that you will have got a few more new customers as you have defiantly gained my custom in the future.

Thanks

Adam

Bad time of year for a rolling road day TBH, loads of people's cars are off the road for winter etc.

Agreed that Matt is a nice bloke

I put my saph with a 24v V6 BOA cosworth engine on the rollers. It managed 178bhp but with an AFR of about 11.5 I think at it's worst when on full throttle and then about 15 when on closed loop. So too rich on full throttle and too lean on closed loop.

I'd like to have gone, but have a 4x4 car.

Matt comes over on here very well and his prices seem ultra competitive. Especially his Throttle body package deal.

Went to Brean Rally instead and froze my nuts off instead

Haha cheers Adam, we had a couple more but it was really just a 'something to do sunday' type thing!

On the plus side I finished mapping that black Escort lol!

I will organise a big one for summer time, and of course everyone is welcome if not for power runs then just the banter!

Cheers again,
Matt

Sorry to hear about writting your car off. What was your car?

Matt glad to hear that you used the day well and got the escort mapped what did it make in the end?
I will send you an email to day and ask for the graphs. Is it possible to split the runs up onto separate graphs as well as grouped together?

Due to the low turnout I pressune that it's not worth your while doing any kind of give away.

Thanks again for your time matt

lol, from my point of view as a business that charges a fixed rate for mapping, spending all day tweaking a K3 site by site with a little target is a waste of my time :P

Whole map mapping and realtime/live updating is the only way to map a car imo.
