just picked up some stainless steel parts for my erst what is a good polish to use?

I personally would not use autosol on parts if there in the engine bay, when the sun catches it all you will see is light scratches as it is an abrasive polish, try some Brilliant metal polish that the detailers use.

super resin polish followed with a couple of coats of fk1000p sealent.
