Guys i hope someone in the know can answer me here ? Due to my incident yesturday, as described in my other thread, i have to send off my full license and card license to have 3 points put on. I believe ill be given some paper to show i have a full license.

Is this going to be a problem for me at border crossings and if i get stopped by the police in france/belgium/holland/germany ?

the hose between the maf sensor and turbo had seperated at the maf sensor im guessing when we jacked up the engine, its not a high pressure pipe but it ment the maf was bypassed and so when it started it cut out after a few seconds

all sorted now,, fitted my A048 slicks too,, FUCK EVER FITTING THEM AGAIN !!!!, christ they are on tight !!! bent 3 tyre levers,, the garage who let me use the machine is far from impressed with me pmsl

i will be there as it is like a 1hour drive from where i live

hope my esco is finished by then...
if not i will be there with a frs II white with black powdercoated rims..

hope you know that a lot of german's, dutch enzenz.. dislike english people on the track..
mainly because overtaking on the ring is on the left hand side and you guys cant seem to get used to that..
sometimes you guys don't even see me coming!! like last week a fu?*ing english transit almost ran me off the track..

btw, nice to know:
  • Basic assistance by colliding with guard rails 150 €
  • Remove a damaged guardrail: 10 € / meter *
  • Replace a guardrail: 31 € / meter *
  • Remove a damaged guardrail post: 5.10 €
  • Replace a damaged guardrail post: 39 €
  • Safety car: 82 € for 30 minutes of service (including taxi for 2 people)
  • Closing the circuit: € 1,350 / hour
  • Stay in hospital and ambulance: not otherwise specified, but only recommended to go to the Nürburgring with private travel insurance (for whatever may happen)
(*) Note: The cost of repairing guard rails is multiplied by 2, 3 or 4 if it consists of multiple sections

I cant see why Brits have a problem passing on the left.
If you drive on any UK motorway, everyone drives on the right leaving the left lane for passing but in UK it is called undertaking

Its going to be tight, i hope you can order ferry tickets at last minute.

Im not sure if a payment will come through in time, i could go with Ł300 but i want more budget "just in case".

Might have to meet you lot there on the saturday or something.

Im not taking my car on the ring, put it this way, an hour of the ring closure is more money than the value of half my car

Berry Van Berk,

Most of us if not all have been to the Ring a few times, and are experienced there. In the UK nearly all track days we have to pass on the left, so we are well used to that. Please don't put us all in the same boat, as we make a point of respecting the locals and their beautiful surroundings.

Rick.

4 am this morning, in Plymouth.

420 miles running in completed over night.

I'm off to get it mapped in a few hours time. I might just make it there in my own car
