I think a pillar pod may look a tad out of place in this car, I would say get another drivers side air vent facia and have a mount moulded in place of the vent fins, this way only you knows its there, its readily visible without being in your driving view and you can put back to standard easily. Other option is to create a custom cluster around the gearstick/centre console.

There you go, get a spare one, make a decent plug out of it using firstly domestic filler to get the main profile, then use automotive filler for the top coat then seal with a rigid poly resin. Then make a mould from this with an EPOXY resin infused chopped strant. (very important that) The make a part from this but use a matt gel coat, a gloss gel coat would be too shiny and may look out of place in contrast to the other black plastic trims

well thats the proper way to do it if oyu are after a factory finish but beware it takes many atempts, you could cut corners and simply mould the gauge mount in and spray iot or flock it. Both are very respectable finishes just depends on your own tastes. Gotta sign off now as ive got an early start in the workshop in the morning. Feel free to give us a bell and I would be more than happy to explain some options to you and how you would go about completing them.

Regards Raj

Why not in the centre warning lights bit/area.
I have taken out the fuel/low washer lights and surround out, and the clock bulb warn, and made a panel to fit here that houses 3 more gauges, plus a very nice air temp sensor, £40 on ebay, but I do them £25 if wanted.
I have like I say 3 gauge holes here, std 52mm gauges, plus the other room has various switches etc for(chavvy) led strobes, headlight delay etc.
