Default Ebay help...

right, i need abitof help please as i am not sure if i have been ripped although my gut feeling says i have.

I sold a guy my amp, nothing wrong with it and wasnt damaged, and it was posted about 10th december. Anyway he put in a dispute to paypal and said it wasnt as described and ot was broke etc etc etc, but i have a photo on the day i wrapped it up proving nothing was wrong.

Pay pal investigated, depsite not contacting me and awarded him that he could have his money back. Basically, paypal have paid him back £75 and lefvt my account in a negative balance as he told them he would post it back.

I have not recieved the amp back at all, so how come paypal has paid him before i have even recievd it back???? Anyway i emailed him saying that unless i get it back ill call the police and report him for theft and got ths lovely reply back

Ive given them the tracking number already ye silly little prick so fuck off and get a life!!!!

Ive contacted paypal and they have as yet not replied back to me. I think paypal are in the wrong, as now this guy has my amp and has had his money back.

Anyone got any ideas??? I cannot use my paypal account until i pay the money back in, but theirs no way i am doing that until i get the goods back

I would have thought that Paypal would have taken the cash from you, put it in his account but frozen it until you confirm receipt of the goods.

when you sign upto paypal you accept there terms... there terms boil down to use it at your own risk there decisions are final and if stuff goes wrong prepare to lose out, i got an xbox that never turned up last year, won the claim and they awarded me £0 back as the money wasn't in his account... the cnut is still selling car parts and the like on rs2000-16v possibly other sites, fcuk all you can do, just be thankful it wasn't alot of money

Ive had it happen to me a few times now, whether they bid on an item and they get bidding fever. Or they are just idiots who pay over the top for stuff then realize, then rip you for it.
So, ive almost stopped selling on there. Feel for you mate, really do.

Yeah same happened to me. Paypal upheld my claim but the guy had no money in his account to pay me and then went underground. They're good at taking their percentage but if you require help with an honest problem they're very disappointing...

I would leave your account dormant as at the minute is basically Paypals money that has been payed to them.

Just set up a new account in a family members name

Ebay is getting worse. It is totally aimed at, and in favour of the buyer and the seller has to just go along with whatever is dictated to them.

Do we have any members in Manchester that could "have a polite word" .
