as you have seen, this took me less than one hour to cut the site, do the work i wanted to on the server and to bring the site back online, but we prefered to announce a downtime of one hour, and come back quickly, rather than the contrary.
Should be back to full speed for good now, as I did absolutely everything i wanted on the server and on the DB during this downtime.
