In the past I've washed my hands with normal hand soap & then used a tiny bit of washing powder, it works well.

Manista. It's magic!

I'm convinced if Dumbledore had used it, he'd still be alive.

If you get regularly dirty, invest in some good barrier cream and swarfega.

One off, a splash of old petrol or diesel works, just make sure to wash normally asap after, or your hands dry out to fk

Should really use proper Hand-Cleaner ... Dont worry if they dont come fully clean .. If the Soap wont remove the stains they wont rub off any anything.

Use Barrier Cream and the Oil will fly off.

ALWAYS use Cold water.

Nothing works as well as you'd like, used to take me a good couple of days away from work before i got them properly clean. Use gloves whilst working, if you dont like wearing them try barrier cream.

Best thing I have ever used, its a green jelly/gel with no abrasives.

But you can always add abit of sugar or salt if you need it when washing your hands.

Halfords and Wilkinsons sell it.

Believe it or not, rubbing your hands with brand new engine oil works a treat. It breaks down the old stuff that stains on your hands, and then will just wash off with soap and water.

Failing that thinners always does the trick, but it will find any cuts or scratches you might have and as with petrol is not a good idea to keep using it.

swarfega, but the one with bits in, or a cheaper alternative

i use swarfega to get the oil off, then come in the house and use a soft hand soap, or bathroom soap to make my hands soft again cos swarfegas nasty on your hands i find if i dont wash them again lol

for normal crap, a small dash of oil tends to work well in breaking down the crud

for worse stuff then a squirt of dw40 does the trick

always use washing up powder or sugar to scrub afterwards, followed by a good lathering of soap

I've been using this for years, very good stuff.
Used to be in Wilkos but can be found in Halfords and smaller Autoparts shops.

Use that at work, its rubbish imo, not a patch on the comma stuff above or on fairy liquid and sugar.

The yellow manista is excellent ( blue tub )

But I mostly wear gloves when working. Use the vinyl food prep gloves. Far better than those stinking latex ones.

That's great until there's a fire and the fire bucket's empty lol.

We use Tufanega which i always find does the trick and then wash with normal liquid hand soap just to finish off. If i know i'm doing a really filthy job i will use Rozalex Wet Works barrier cream. Another tip i heard years ago is to drag your finger nails down a bar of soap so that the soap gets under your nails stopping grime from getting under them then when you wash your hands it washes the soap out and your nails are still clean - don't know if it works cause i could never be arsed to try it.

some of the dry hand cleaners are fantastic too. I got some "scrubs" hand cleaners and they really work well !!!

Also got some cheaper ones, and again, they work bloody fantastic.
