And just a note from info i have read on gixer forums the standard GSXR thou speedo will only read up to 186mph. So speeds over will have to have been done with gps etc or people on here are talking shit.

Looking for a ZX12r for next year. Looking to crack 200mph so will be spending a fair bit of cash.

nowadays i'm FAR more sensible and don't think i've exceeded 80mph in my 530d

got caught doing 120+ in and out of traffic a few years ago, got let off mega lightly (fixed penalty!) but it knocked enough sense into me to keep the speeds down. takes a LOT longer to get anywhere at 70mph tho

Been an indicated 170/175 in a supercharged k20 civic type-r (fast!) and an idicated 150 (waaaayy off the clock) in a c20xe'd nova. Was a passenger in both. Not sure how accurate both speedos were, but the type r felt pretty stable and I never want to go that fast in a nova again!! Lol

Oh and also did a mind boggling 42mph on my old bmx, down a fairly short hill lol.

I had my Clio 172 sat on the limiter in 5th, I think it worked out at 145mph.

I have only had my t5 up to about 125ish but that's plenty fast for me now a days!

I've been a touch faster in a couple of my old cars (indicated), but I did 174 the other night in a standard Audi TT, was wanting to see how quick it reached the 155 limiter... and got a surprise when it kept going.

I love having a local(ish) private airfield to play on.

think he's saying the phisical speedo will only read 186mph as in if you go faster the speedo will only read 186mph,so if you say the speedo was reading 200mph then he's calling you a bull shiter not that your bikes not tuned and wont do what you say

161 mph in my old impreza, getting there seemed fine, when i had to stop i was more worried back and shaking a little ..... :-/ private road of course....

i also got stopped 128 in the same car a few weeks later, learned my lesson then :-(

you won't have to spend to much on a ZX12R, A models are from Ł2000, unrestricted and should be close to 200mph out the box, mine had a full akrapovic and power commander and went well.

And about 45ish I spose on a mx bike and probably about the same on my DH mountain bike in the alps. feels like 1000mph when you are bouncing over rocks and off drops at that speed though with other bikes flinging rocks up at you!! Lol . Ace feeling lol

Only driven at 90odd as I'm only 19 so a quick car isn't aloud in the insurers eyes.

was a pass at the time in my dads bosses brand new 911 turbo 2001 which ever model that is, speedo said 165mph. Fastest ive driven a car is st200 and st24 speedo saying 130mph. I don't go over 100 these days. Of course thats on a private road
