Long Shot - 2 Giant bunnies need a loving home
Well.... 'most' of you know that i have two Giant House Rabbits. Bob and Bertha.
It breaks my heart totally to write this, but i need to find them a loving home.
This is all my own fault, and i am totally to blame. When i moved back to Ipswich, and into this house, i KNEW my contract said no pets. But i thought id be able to get away with it.
But, my landlord has now found out and given me until the end of the month to either find myself a new home or find the bunnies a new home. I have tried every avenue possible, looked for new houses, even offered a higher deposit on this place and even offered to buy it from the landlord... but still to no avail.....
So.... I have a new home for them, in Yorkshire, BUT it means they will be outside bunnies...which i hate the thought of. they are used to being outside during the day, but not at night. I am due to drive them to yorkshire on Sunday.
They are so loving, and so cuddly, i would love love love to find them a loving home with someone where they can be inside bunnies.
I know there are lots of animal lovers on here, and i know its a long shot but could anyone offer these two a loving home so they dont have to be outside buns? They cannot be separated as they are now bonded for life. Both are up to date with vaccinations and both have been neutered.
And please... this is hard enough for me, so please, dont anyone say 'well you shoulda thought of this before you moved in' Please.

Im in Ipswich. But i am more than happy to take them to where ever needed as ideally i would also like to see where they would be living.
They would come with everything, carriers, bowls, food, straw. Even a hutch that they use as their little 'sitting' place ( no doors on the front though as they dont get penned in! )

I offered to buy the house off him at way over the odds.
cnut wouldn't sell for any price!!! says its his pension.
tried bribing him as well... nope!
estate agents won't give maria his number either so having a 'chat' is also proving a no go

Like i say i have a lovely home for them to go to with a very well experienced Giant Bunny Lady... but they will be kept outside in a 9foot by 6 foot run.
And i would just love them to be able to stay indoors. They are outside ALL day.... and are in the house when i am in.

How did he find out about them? Does the contract say no pets INSIDE the house or no pets on his property at all? May sound silly but cant you just say you got rid of them and then try and make sure he doesnt find out you still got them?

It was my fault though, she's not vicious (just in case any prospective owners think she is ) I just picked her up wrong and when she jumped away she took my skin with her! I have very soft sensitive skin don't ya know!
Seriously though, they're such awesome bunnies and would bring so much happiness to anyone lucky enough to have them. Bertha's just a little sweetheart, along with her doting husbunny Bob. Someone give them a loving home, pretty please......

Id try calling his bluff and see what he says. Theres loads of unoccupied houses for rent round here so demand is not that good. Dont know the demand in your area but its worth a try maybe, just to see if he gives in?

its a LOVELY house though and she is VERY settled there and just got all her new furniture and stuff....
he was PROPERLY pissed off aparently...
he wouldnt even LISTEN to any offer on the house or take more rent or anything
stubborn knob!
goood thing is though... the lady who they are going to said she can have them back whenever she wants. So when she starts making millions at Porsche and gets her own place or finds somewhere else she want to rent, she can have them back.
its just a bunny holiday!

I was gonna post a picture of a stew pot and some vegetables, but can see you're very attached and they do look quite cute, so I'll try not to be a cruel horrible bastard like usual...
...so best of luck! It sounds like they will be well looked after - like Lee said its just a big bunny holiday! Can't Lee have them in his office? lol...

Was gutted when you told me this in your text last night
Just been trying to persuade my mum to have them! Sadly she's away too much to give them the care that they've been used to
Fingers crossed you find them an inside home!

sorry but rules are rules, your last place was no pets but you got the first rabbit, this place was no pets but you moved in with the rabbit, fair play, i would have probably done the same,,, but then you bought 2 more....... i can see where the landlord is coming from, especially after seeing the damage the rabbits can do when they start chewing.
should have got a cat, much easier to lie about!
