MK5 Escort Equipe 1.4 for me, in pacifica blue, as my first car. Had it a couple of years, then sold it on, it survived another year or so then disappeared.
Funnily enough, after a load of other Escorts and things, and the T-5, I've just bought another little 1.4 Equipe to run about in. Really loved them, this is my third and hoping to take this one a bit further than I did the others!

which year zetec s?
i had a zetec s brand new ten years ago, lasted 2 weeks before i fecked it hit the front near side into a dirty big kerb on a roundabout and it jolted the back of the car into said kerb which snapped the back axle, would have been a write off but i repaired it myself, lasted another year till a mondeo wanted to make love to my drivers door.
always liked my zetec s mk5, so much so i have 4 of them at the moment, as well as a focus st3 soon to be replaced by a mk4 rs

the first ford i bought was a mk2 escort 2 door. I bought it for 50 quid but it was bloody rotton. The first ford i drove on the road was my mk2 fiesta 1.1 with a 5speed box.

It was a stolen recovered one, didnt owe me much, so not as bad as it sounds!
Now its a different shell, its yellow and its not a 500 anymore, but I like it now

mk3 escort xr3 with 2.1 overbored engine conversion, 4 branch manifold and home made 2.5" straight through exhaust, cut springs
14" steel wheels, fake roll cage and fully stripped out apart from dash and front seats, paid £50 for it as it was sat on a friends drive when he bought the house, never got it running for some reason and in the end found half of the floor plan was rotten so it went to the scrap yard and doubled my money was 17 and unlicenced at the time so good job i didnt get it running
