just want to see peoples views on dump valves?? i fancied one for my st2 for a while but then thought they were abit tacky.. but the more i think about them the more i want 1 again! just thought id get sick of it after longer journeys tho... i was lookin on ebay and the baileys kit £95 buy it now pirce, and i asked at revolution and for the same 1 they said £300 fitted

..still debating at the moment though

ive got 1 on my s2 but only because i turned the boost down and lost my chatter i much prefer chatter though as the dv is so fucking annoying after about 15 mins lol

I ran one on mine for about a year until I turned the boost up and got chatter. It does get you attention ;o)

 

I've got one on the Meg, but it's really quite subtle and not very loud from outside the car.

 

I have a collins diaphragm type, even drilled the holes around the outside out to max so to make louder, love them myself, nice and quiet when driving normally.
After being nagged by my lad(13) for a bit of chatter, I unplugged etc, and so had chatter, the difference in pick up was immense, was really like night and day, felt like I'd knocked a plug lead off, so run dv.

Hate them, always had chatter. Now i've had to buy one and really unhappy about it! Its for a GT turbo so had no choice.
