Nope not sheep Pete - just slowly realising there are better performance cars in the same price bracket than a 20 year old cosworth

Yep, have to agree there Rich, if circumstances would of been different i would still have the 8 MR Sheady built for me... stunning that was....480bhp /446ft/lb Autronic Anti-lag, spent a fortune on that too...nevermind..

I,d still like another tbh Rich, i fancy a 9 GT, or a 9 MR RS but they,re HUGE money..

I,d NOT sell my cossie though, i,ve had 4 Evos and still come back to Cossies... mind you, that,s probably my age, brain fade Rich...

Hold on a min you can't compare a 19 year old car to 2000 technology. Of course the evo is better it's up to date technology etc, but people on here compare evo's 6/7/8 an tbh There only better looking on the out side/inside, plus cosworth is 6/7/8 money now well in Ireland it is away!

Rich
Surely a 20 year old Ford that goes wrong every week & handles like a cart load of dung is better than a EVO that handles like a rally car & you can use reliably every day. I think you are being very blinkered

i have to say dave's motor is very impressive for an out of the box car, other than the speedo being very titchy, the rest of the car was very very good, seats, looks, space, the way it just goes on and on accelerating wihtout pause, everyting

although i will say that it seemed very cold and calulating, and, thinking about it on the way home, it was like arnie's terminator vs meichael beins kyle reece

and thanks for the free grub, whoever paid for it, the burger was very very nice

if you are breaking the saph, how much you want for the wheels mate

another one bites the dust. This is why i think the ford shows and rs shows are slowly dying cause everyone is moving to other cars.

Great cars, far more capable than an old ford sierra, but I still think you should keep yours Rich, far more to it than just what is fastest round a track, your car has far more character (and faults probably, lol) than an Evo.

Keep the saph I reckon

Well i hope so but you here more about people getting other brands of cars than people coming back to fords and cossies. I dont know how people can compare a old cossie with a evo that has all the technology on it.

Your only just realising that now?!

We all know there are 'better' cars out there, thats a fact, but you can't deny the specialness of a cossie - now put your blinkers back on please

there is nothing too compare. Its night and day difference as you would expect. You cant compare the 2. after 8 years of cosworth ownership i can feel the tide shifting towards jap
