Default 3 bar map sensor

Evening all ive done the usual and broken the nipple off mine for the 4th time and think its beyond repair now! was wondering if anyone had tried one of the copied ones off ebay? and if anyone knows who makes them? also if anyone has an idea if the internals are the same as the genuine units? as they are half the cost, are they half the spec as i dont really fancy rebuilding my engine again just yet!!!!!

James while im inclined to agree i feel your opion is slightly bias! as you sell these!! lol and the companies selling them dont seem to have any negative feedback about them. it was just a general question really.

not bias at all.

if they were any good we would sell them instead lol

i know of several failures and have replaced a few during mapping as we found them inaccurate. as most chinese imported stuff is

ps, you say yours is now beyond repair surely you havent repaired it before thats dead engine material

how do you keep snapping it?
if its cos you taking engine out. just remove vac pipe from inlet and leave attached to map sensor, thats what i do.

As said well worth the money for genuine one, in comparison to engine cost.
Never seen a copy one on a cossie, but on another car it(copy) was all over the place, and so of course was the fuelling, maybe put some nice soft silicone vac pipe on so not as much strain if you do accidentally hit pipe.
