Default Mondeo ST TDCi remap question....

is it possible to run a TUNIT box in conjunction with a remap?

is there any point?
what are the benefits?
do they work together?

A good map shouldn't need a Tunit-style box.

the only reason for asking is that I have just bought a car with a tunit box already fitted, but was wondering if there would be any further benefits from a remap?

im dont think much of these tune it type boxes, im informed all they do is make the car think the engine is cold all the time and make it run a bit richer so you gain a bit of performance that way, do yourself a favour, take it off, sell it on ebay and put it towards a good quality remap. Thats my opinion anyway
