5 days on the run.

As far as I am concerned its all water under the bridge...I got pissed off originally because there was a run of releases that Elstack made, and each one that came out would have an unedited steal from a KF track - usually a breakbeat, but sometimes a vocal or whatever...and then the Six Days thing. Once is fine, twice is a little annoying, but to keep doing it shows a lack of respect and imagination, as well as making me feel that Kniteforce had its own personal parasite. While its true that a lot of the labels have sampled from the dutch releases - we did too (I wanna Be Forever, for example) - the key difference is we didn't make a habit out of it by always sampling the same label, and even in that one instance, we took something that the dutch also took, not something they wrote.
Sampling can be inventive, and really impressive if done with thought...but the whole rave scene has suffered from the way that some artists steal with no respect for the original artist.
But like I say, I have no beef with Elstack now. Who cares? No point clinging on to past grudges...Im doing my thing and happy as I am, plus more legally aware and able to sort out such problems in a more professional way instead of calling people a dick on the sleeve of a record. And anyway, he dug his own grave in the end...
