Default Double Din Headunits.

Is it possible for cars with a double din headunit to be fitted with 2 single din headunits??

I know theres facia adaptors for when you go from double to single din to cover the remaining gap.............

What if i (just say i did) wanted to fit this............

PIONEER-AVHP6600DVD

and this............

DENSION-DMP3-80S

How would i go about doing it?? Is there a special adaptor plate to hold them both in so one isn't just sitting on top of the other??

I'm not sure there are many double din slots - I think most of the Ford ones are Din and a half.

My mate has an FTO with two single slots in it. He was looking at a double din unit as they have been put in FTO's before. Wouldnt it just be a case of putting two single cages in and bolting those to the bulkhead so the two single units can be put in and locked like a normal single unit?

You should have put it FAO CFOSTER as he would probably know

Din and a half? So a double din unit for say Pioneer wouldn't fit in the Ford slot?
