Sadly I've just got back home from the location of our beloved igloo , with the camping gear. All that greeted us apon arrive was a massive pile of snow with some tyre tracks in it. Lucky we weren't in it at the time I supose. Bloody pickys! O well there's always next year and were have to choose a different location!

Coldo, apparently the ice is very reflective and doesnt absorb much heat, so the air inside fairly quickly warms up with just your bodyheat.

Makes sense as that certainly happens in a tent, and I guess its not too different in terms of the air being very still etc.

fucking pikey scum cunts!

why cant they just leave things alone?

How would they feel if you ran a monster truck over thier caravans?????

How long was it left? Whos field was it?

Plus chip, snow is a better insulator than any tent material!

No doubt about that.

Kind of related... but i seen a thing on sky news earlier about people swimming in the sea in bournmouth, initially, i thought they were fucking tubes but apparently the water was 7°C, which makes it seem a wee bit better.

If you stripped down to your trunks first and loitered around for a couple of minutes at -5, then I guess when you dived in at 7 degrees it would actually feel warm, lol

It was just in a public park in windsor. But it was built right by the road and was attracting alot of attention from whit it was 3 foot tall onwards.

We finnished it at about half seven and it was on the floor by eleven

Good effort, shame some people can't just leave things be...

Here's my smaller effort in the back garden..

I'm 6' 2" just to get an idea of size..

Was 1 and a half days construction with me and the children.
