I think you guys are abit Harsh on the whole wheeler dealers show considering you have all watched it and probably loved watching it, even when the repeats are on!
This is a programme that i enjoy watching; i dont actually care if they are doing things wrong, its just nice to see all these old cars. please name me another car programme that showcases a golf gti mk1. austin mini, audio quatro, porsche 911, porsche 924, 928, cosworth, lancia intergrale?
So your rather watch jezza in some jungle showing everyone what a clown he is and nothing whatsoever to do with cars?

You are right, I do watch it if its on, I think their best was that little fiat 500 they did. However Mike Brewer just seems to know the square root of fuck all about cars, yet he's 'been in the trade' all his life!
I mean, if you pulled the dipstick on a car, and the oil was a bit black, would you rebuild the engine? If it was pissing smoke out the exhaust, would you change the gear linkage?

And have you also noticed how when Edd China fitted the brand new engine to the fiat 500, and when he got the integrale running after being sat without running for years, as soon as it fires he's revving the fucking bollocks off it?

i like it when edd tests a part he has fitted to see if works ok lol as if he has never tested it before the camrea was running and the way a buyer looks at the same part of the car for ages while mike is talking to the camrea anyway i like to watch it even that mike knows fuck all about cars.

I would have paid to have been there! I can't beleive it when he goes the scrap yard and everything he needs is there. anyone remember the show when pie muncher mike got a car with a few faullts and got two other plums to look for them. they had a saph cos and he said that one of the front wheels was further back than the other,as they all were,been in a shunt mate walk away.clueless, but worth watching for the laughs and gaffs and capri wing painting tips

mikes done well out of being like he is and has made a fair few quid out of it too.
I have friends in the trade just like him and they make a hell of a lot of money trading, Wheeler dealers is just an idea that kept him on the tele.

Does anyone remember the show Deals on Wheels he used to do. Episode that sticks out was an utter cock selling his Renault 19 with williams plastered down the side. He had won max power sound system comps with it. When he took the guy for a test drive he was saying how guys see him driving by with there girlfriends, but don't look at the car because they are jealous. Then he asks the guy if there are many "pigs" on a stretch of road so he can gun it. Proper spastic!

to be fair, mike brewer knows more than a lot of so called traders! you dont really need to know massive amounts about the car to be a good salesman. a good salesman can sell any heap of croc.....
I remeber when it used to be on discovery H&L it always was followed by the show with the mad nutter building a kitcar! that show was good though.

they do say"its had a full restoration"................when it cleary hasnt even had half of one its had a clean and an exhaust changed
and also say "we made a proffit"yeah after 3 weeks of donkey Edd working on it that would equal out to be about Ł7.40 a day and running around getting bits great wages that isi think Mikes no to bad because he just lands everything on Edd poor cunt

Wheeler dealers is shocking at times, the god awful landrover in bright fucking yellow, who would buy that? They admited they made a loss on. That red MR2, he went on about a cheap wing he paid next to nothing for, it was so blatantly a brand new wing that had been painted.
