Right, Me again!

Car Audio, i see there is a section, but i think this question will be allowed in this section

Right i have a little money to spend on some car audio equiptment, i need a head unit and i guess new speakers and maybe a sub, and i have around £160.

Now obviously i wont get all this for that, so was wondering if anyone could advise me on some good value for money equiptment.

Lets begin!

Headunit: now i won't be wanting a multi-changer, just a simple headunit with an ipod input. I have always looooved Pioneer (have a 6 piece audio set (around £2000 in its day ) so maybe something simple in the pioneer range, but! are there better brands for car audio?

Am i better off splashing out on the headunit and skimping a little on the speaker?

I'm not asking for you to find me a set, more the case of personal experience, what to look for and what not to look for..
