SORN'ing / Taxing a car.......

If say the tax ran out at on 31/12/09, and i intend to re-tax it on 01/02/10, do i actually have to SORN the car to cover this month, or can i just wait until the end of this month and tax it to start in Feb?

Strictly speaking you do and it's best to do it just incase because the DVLA (cunts) issue fines for untaxed vehicles that aren't SORN'd

Just do it online like I do

i thougt the same they charged me for the two months. so ended up with only 4 months tax. feckers.

well if you dont sorn it now they will charge you for January also and you WONT be able claim anything back as it ONLY takes 2mins to sorn it on or off line!
