Just got a new 09 plate transit but once i take away the central locking closes all the doors. Due to my job there is alot of stopping and starting and getting stuff from the back for which i have to switch off the van.

Is there anyway to disable the auto lock feature or does it need to go back to Ford??

Any help would be great peoples!!

there may be smething as simple as a fuse or relay controlling this, Its part of the anti hijack feature id imagine

You need to get the dealer to switch off auto locking. It's a setting on the security system that requires the IDS to switch it on or off.

i no how to open it if you lock your keys in lol. duno if it will tota;y disable it though

Is it not like the citrorens where i hold the lock button in side the cab with the ign on for ten sec's ?

cheers people the hire company are coming to take the locks off seems it needs a computer to do this now.
