have you had any problems with leaving the grove in the block does this affect the wrc gasket at all? cheers hugh

Coopers rings are great, they have to be machined properly and you have to have the right ring and gasket kit, Julian Godfrey still uses coopers rings on all high power engines.
The WRC multilayer gasket are well proven also and it eliminates the need for machineing but it has to be the Mountune type.
