Smile front bumper

Does any1 know if the mk2 front bumper for a ford focus would fit on a mk1? i am currently looking to replace my bumper and think that the mk2 is better looking.

anything can be made to fit anything esle but I think it would look shit, they arent even the same or similar shape car mate. Or do you mean a mk1 focus facelift on a non facelift mk1

yeh sorry if that was confusing. what i meant by the mk's was 1998-2001(mk1) 2001-2005(mk2).

so you mean the mk1 and mk1 facelift then..

This is what id call a mk2


and this a mk1 non facelift


and this a mk1 facelift


facelift bumper will fit but you will need to sort something out for your front indicators. either fitting some into the bumper or by fitting facelift headlights as they are built in.

lol kl, are you sure the bumper will fit? yeh i know about the indicators. im planning on getting new headlamps as well =]

the mk1.5 front bumper will go on with no hassle at all fella, the rear one will too!

BUT when you fit the mk1.5 headlights you will have to mod the wiring for the indicator, apparently there is a wiring conversion plug you can buy..

or just chop the wires and a plug from a mk1.5 and work out which is which, connect them to yours.
