Although there are alot of scams, sometimes they aren't and if someone is close enough to check it out in person, then why not.
Who was it that got that Focus RS last year for under 6k, bloke just needed to sell it fast in order to save his house iirc. Needed to buy his misses out before the weekend.

Yes you did state the obvious i know. For what it matters, although it seems it does to you for some reason, you also said a couple of other things and even said that 'he clearly mentions the offset of the wheels' or something, which implies you may have actually been unsure if it was genuine or not.
Anyway, it doesnt matter really does it.

I just love it when people say 'its not quite right', or 'smells dodgy' etc. Of course its 'dodgy' in one way or another. Even if its a 'genuine' advert and a scam, it would clearly be 'dodgy' in some other way.
I especially like the threads where people post up links saying 'look at this xxx for £xxx, is it a bargain or a scam'?

one of my mates just bought an Evo 6 tommi mak for half of its value coz he was in the right place at the right time and coz the kid he bought it off didn't know anything about cars, lol, ther are definately bargains out ther to be had
