Microsoft Xbox 360 repair - I Need Some Shipping Help?
I've done what I need to do and I have been sent an Email from UPS. It's a UPS Label for Frankfurt, Germany. Repair Centre. So all I do now is put that label on the box and send it? Do I take it the Post office or do I have to send it with UPS. Also, the nearest UPS is ten miles away so do I post it to there and then they post it to Microsoft? Can I take it there by car? I'm kind of confused.
I'm only getting it fixed because of the Forza thread.

how long have you had the xbox Benni , my cd drive failed at 9 months and i took it back to curry's who put me on phone to microsoft so i put phone down and demanded a new one from curry's , sale of goods act mate, Point of sale, they have to replace it which they did. I purchased it from them not microsoft.

My now ex Girlfriend bought it me mate. I have no receipt and no proof of purchase. Technically it's a stolen console as they demanded it back and claimed I'd borrowed it, which was a lie... It's far too messy for me to go round there demanding a receipt.
Although my friend has a receipt for one which isn't very old, and he offered to take mine in to Comet as his. Do you know if that will work? Do they have serial numbers.

just checked my curry's receipt and they don't put the serial on the receipt so you might have a chance at comet , just be firm and stand your ground and quote point of sale goods act to them

I got mine fixed by some bloke on ebay, only cost £20. It had been sat upstairs since it got red ring of death early last year, I only got it fixed for forza3!

I wouldn't pay someone to do it if it's free from the genuine people. I'll have to start that game and just send them off. LOL. What is UPS's number, the one I need? Can't find it.

You just print it off and stick it on the box. Call UPS to arrange a time for them to come round and collect it!

if microshaft have accepted a repair on it, then its not blocked and would be perfectly accepted to be sent back.
ive sent in flashed xboxes with 1 red ring before and they sent me a brand new console lol

Im pretty sure there is no serial number on the box of the XB360, just on the console itself. Hence they have a hole in the box showing the back of the console's serial number.
I would take it back to Comet in ya mates box.
Just remember, they maybe able to tell the difference of each console.
The Core/Arcade has a white plastic game slot (DVD draw), pro has a silver. Easiest way of telling the two apart.
