My now ex Girlfriend bought it me mate. I have no receipt and no proof of purchase. Technically it's a stolen console as they demanded it back and claimed I'd borrowed it, which was a lie... It's far too messy for me to go round there demanding a receipt.

Although my friend has a receipt for one which isn't very old, and he offered to take mine in to Comet as his. Do you know if that will work? Do they have serial numbers.
