Default What is the "wrapping" on the front struts of RST

On the top of the two struts underneath the paint is what looks like almost stips of cloth of some sort (solid). I've always wondered what exactly it is for?

As in.

Do you mean the sealant around the strut tops where they have sealed the joints.

Cannot see anything else being there......cloth.

It's not cloth but, that sort of texture. Like a bandage.

thats sealant m8, round the joins of the strut tower.

Aye brush on seam sealer m8. You can smooth it out, just remove it!!!!! Just becomes more prone to rust
