music identification software ????
is there anything about to find out track names and album info on music i have on my ipod got loads on there with no info and its starting to bug me
ive got a program on my mobile but it costs to use it and i need to identify 100+ tracks anyone help?

Media Player and iTunes will only get info for the tracks if there is already some info present. It works on ID3 tags. Neither of them "listen" to the song and tell you what it is.
If you want to do that, use Shazam. Could be long and tedious if you have LOADS of music to do, but ultimately it'll work.

itunes uses gracenote, that'll find any released song 99% accurately even without any information.
