PC components on line???
My PC is in need of a bit of TLC and I was thinking of treating it to a secondary hard disc and some more RAM as it only has 700MB or so and a 60Gb hard drive.
Where are the best places to look on line for this stuff as I've been told to avoid PC World by a few people now?

you could try Overclockers www.ocuk.co.uk or Dabs www.dabs.com but thinking you might want to buy a new one mate.

Cheers people, I know I need DDR PC3200 so I'm good on that front.
And a new PC would be great, unfortunately now I'm on my own and having to pay the mortgage and bills there isn't much spare cash for that sort of stuff so I have to make do with what I have. I can swallow £30 on RAM and £40 on a HDD, can't justify the £300+ required to replace the whole thing

this is the hard drives IDE..as you didnt state it was IDE or SATA drive...IDE drives first http://www.computerorbit.co.uk/items...tle=components
sata drives http://www.computerorbit.co.uk/items...tle=components
those are the better drives as you can get 1.5TB..which massive storage
but most drives start from £30..
I've also used these in the past..http://www.misco.co.uk/..
random, as ive never heard anything else but excellent from overclockers and ive been using them for years
just found 2x 512mb sticks of pc3200 you pay the postage and you can have them
