The wee fella got one for xmas,i've done it with my ps3 but heard you need extra kit ??

if its nowhere near your router/modem you will either need a really long ethernet cable or a wireless adapter (around £50)

Then to play online you need xbox live gold membership, you get a free month, then you can get it from play.com or pc world for £35 for the year, its £40 most places

It's right beside the router so thats ok,so just gold membership needed then ?

do you just plug the wireless bit into the xbox and thats it or do you need the code off the router before it will work (not very good with computer s**t)

Just found out you need a wireless adaptor too FFS . PS3 ftw every time lol.

Dont need an adaptor,i know this because i use a cable and have xbox live and all you do is plug it in and switch the xbox on.
