Default Hankook EVO 12 Ventus!!!

when people put up best tyre posts tabetha always mentions these hankooks and as you should all no tabz is a man with alot of knowledge, so i thought i'd order myself a pair for the mondy 215/45/17 £131 posted off kamskill, they arrived i got them fitted and OMG!!! what a good tyre LOADS!!! of grip as soon as fitted i'v not had to bed them in really but tabz assure me they'll feel even better after 7-800 mile .

even with this shitty weather and road conditions my standard brakes are un able to lock the front wheels up and i get wedged against my seatbelt with tarmac at temperatures of 0-1deg and salt soaked, my old tyres where a bag of shite anyway but the difference is like another car so predictable and stable and also quiet, it's more about bottle than grip now witch is nice also the way it shifts water is good i plowed through a big puddle that was across the hole road this morn at about 50mph and it just cut through it with no bother my old tyres would of pulled the steering and aquaplaned, i need some on the back now cos i'm worried i have so much grip on the front i'll have the back step out when i'm being a bit adventurous in the corners , i haven't tried these in the dry yet but i can't see anything except more of an improvement from these tyres.

so they come highly recommended from me n tabetha, they aren't some £120 jobbies that last a few thousand miles but all the grip in the world but for the £63 a tyre i can't see you getting a better choice imho

yea i think they just don't get considered like toyo's do, i guess because people don't want to be stuck with a shite tyre so maybe stick to a safe option like the toyo's when there is better choices out there like these hankooks, i haven't given them proper abuse but for the conditions i haven't exactly been gentle with them and they have exceeded expectations.

There used to be a hankook ad on tv that when the car whacks the anchors on the g's pulled the paint of the bonnet. With that in mind and the ropey paint job on my car i think its best i stear clear of them.
Falkens it is,lol.

They are awsome in the dry, easily better than F1/T1R/T1S/, they also work ace at low temps which can let a lot of tyres down, due to various reasons some just won't grip if rubber too cold, like my old rainsports, did not like cold temps took ages before gripping proper, with the ventus V12 evo it's always there, initial wear seems better than those mentioned, not by a huge margin, they are also VERY quiet, very predictable too.
