Default AUX PLUG

Hi there fitted a aux plug in my 06 fiesta yesterday only thing is i got 3.5mm lead from halfords and it dose work right and feels lose in the plug tried my mates ford lead and all is ok do i have to use the ford lead or could it be a faulty plug

Try another lead mate, might just be a dodgy one from Halfrauds. Tesco do them for about a quid I think.
