Default 2wd cosworth propshaft

Hi,

having had a clonking noise coming from under my car for a while I finally was able to get underneath it yesterday to investigate, suspecting the centre prop mount to be the culprit.

As soon as I was underneath it I pulled on the prop shaft and sure enough there was plenty of play coming from either the centre bearing or the bush.

Now I have found on eBay some new bearings and bushes for the centre prop mount but am unsure if they will suit the MT75 prop or the T5 prop as they are different.

Does anyone know if these use the same centre bearing and bush?

Also does anyone know if it is even possible to change the centre bearing and bush on a 2wd Cosworth prop, it is a one piece unit unlike the MT75 which is in 2 halves?

I don’t really want to buy another second hand one as this one has only lasted since July.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Adam

thanks for the link, i have spoken to them and just a new centre bearing and bush would be about £45 so might be worth it. they also said a full refurb would be about £200 for anyone interested.

That expensive fella try shoping round, dave mac-props quoted me £160 theas for every single joint replaced, new center bearing and re-paint, and to be-fair they r normally on the pricy side,
