What oil for a t5
Just fitting my new reconed t5 box.
What oil shall I use?
What do ford recommend and is there anything better.
Gearbox guy recommended a fully synth. But which grade do I need.
Theres not much on this topic.

Castrol SMX S 75w-85 worked great in the Canadian cold in my T9. I'm sure it would work just fine in a T5. We can't get SMX over here anymore.
75w90 Synthetic is what I'm moving too. I have Redline ATF in my Merkur currently. It has a T5 now.
