the bigger engines used to be a pain in the arse, i had a truckzilla one but wasnt twin engined, arent they .47 or something like that? no matter how i set it up it allways gave me greif i spent more time fiddling than playing, but it looked awesome, looking on net i found other peopole saying similar things, i ripped out the truckzilla conversion kit sold it for good money on ebay and put the normal engine back in and it was perfect, started ran all the time no hassle.

The truck i was looking at started off life as a savage 25, it has 2x 3.5s truckzilla engines in it, im used to tweaking the single engined stuff but 2 maybe a pain in the arse to get running in harmony together ?

I had a look for a Schumacher menace but couldn’t find any must be an old kit, the only thing that puts me off is that I had a Schumacher stadium truck a few years ago and it was a very tacky plastic'y thing and not very strong, took a little knock in the front and bent the chassis etc, went for the kyosho usa nitro crusher after that and what a MASSIVE difference that thing was indestructible, cheers for your comments though people keep them coming, any pics of the menace though.

Had in the past a hpi savage, menace and the best by far was the cen genesis. Dwarfed the savage and being all metal parts was much better quality. Was close on £600 when i got mine a few years back but they can be got for alot less. Have a huge motor as stock cant remember what size. Think it might of been a .63.

I've had a spell a few years back with nitro cars started with a Savage 21 which was okay. It was ready assembled (though I think it was put together by Rover as it was common for the engines to fall to pieces as they were not assembled using threadlock at the time).

To cut a long story short I had lots of different cars and spent a small fortune and must say that the best one by a mile was a Team Associated MGT which pissed all over any hpi product I owned. Far more durable and was faster than the savage 25 even though it only had a 21 engine.

Twin engines sounds like twice the problems, twice the cost and twice the fuel (£30 a gallon aint cheap either).
