How is it fed?. I have the radio on at work ALL DAY on site and ive heard the x factor single maybe 3 times at most this week. Hardly fed. Ive heard that shite black eyed peas Meet me half way about 20 at least, so surely by what you say that should keep the x factor off the top spot?

As for being FED? If X-Factor was a show of Mixed Genre music then it would be a fair show. BUT ITS NOT. Its all about singing someone else's song that was written years ago. It would be a fairer show if the contestants wrote their own songs to perform it. It should be a BAND show. This way its fair to all Musicians as well as singers. This way the public get to vote what they really want to hear and not some fucking song thats going to be re-recorded to get some kid to number 1.

If YOU think there should be a show for other genres of music then YOu should get one going and sell it to ITV like Cowell!

What's the latest and is Rage still top? Hope it wins because X factor is a pile of shit and so is that song, same old cover crap. Cowell is like I-phone in my mind, pumps his shit out there all over TV then just watches it sell.
Personally I don't care who's Christmas number 1 but it is a bit wrong that its going to be X factor every time. As Pardeep said about bands/rock and I think Eminem said publicly about X factor and hip hop, the show should feature all types of music but as those judges only do 'pop' shit then its the same thing over and over, just Mariah/Whitney/West life wannabes.

Doesn't work that way. Number 1 spot is always taken by the highest bidder. And the main bidder is Sony for both Rage and Joe. Hence why they are just letting it go on. If there was another Label involved, it would be a different story. Something i learn't when i was working for HMV Distribution and Music Law/Business at Uni

i love watching the program tbh it makes great tv but ill fucked if i want to listen to shite music that gets churned out because of it

tbh people will join to be part of the rebellion against that idiot high trouser band cowell and co because they simply dont like him, and he knows it!
but most will have never heard of RATM or even around when it was released to start with in the first place...
i agree with the music industry standing up for their own rights, when do you see a documentary these days about a decent band? even pop musicians are invading what used to be a supreme fortress for indie and rock music - glastonbury/titp/reading/leeds festivals.... and i think its the final straw when moguls like cowell are simply saying "our music is best because it sells this many more than you, hence i must be a better judge at music in britain"
