I fly bigger ones, but as it's winter I wanted something I could fuck arround in the house with and take out side for a blast.
Did some research and got the Walkera from Hong kong.
What a fucking laugh it is 4 channel 2.4g and fast and not to twitchy when fucking about in the house.
£90 from Hong Kong well worth making a perchase.

I've had an E-sky Honeybee CP2 for 3 years and it's a complete piece of crap!! LOL
Poorly made, poor quality chinese item, I can fly it but it's a constant battle!!
http://www.esky-heli.com/esky-honey-...hz-p-2747.html
The CP3 looks much more substantial but it's the electronics that make the CP2 hard to fly (although it is very fragile), the Giro is useless as is the speed controller, everything constantly changes and you have to retrim as your flying!

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
For a first CP heli you cannot beat the Eflite Blade 400 3D. It costs a bit more but the TX you get with it can be used on much bigger helis so save you money in the longer term.
The one thing you'll quickly find with this hobby is it aint cheap, alot like cossie ownership in that respect buy once and buy right, you can spend hundreds on crappy helis that won't fly properly and by the time you give up and buy the right stuff you may as well have bought the best in the first place.
One other thing I can recommend is a flight simulator called Pheonix. It's very realistic and costs about £60 s/h. You'll need a PC and also a transmitter to run it but the first crash you don't have you've saved the cost of it.

Quite a busy site with very welcoming and helpful people on board.

I would avoid anything with a motor driven tail as it's one more thing for the budget electronics to look after. Much better with a belt driven tail.
When I started earlier this year I got a Eflite Blade MCX and a copy of Phoenix. I now fly an Align Trex 500 and a Raptor 30, not to a very high standard admittedly but I can fly them round without too much fear of crashing every 5 mins.

My advise would be to buy a RC heli from your local hobby shop so you can get discount on parts as you will be seeing him quite often!!!!
As said before get a good flight sim, I used Reflex, Phoenix is very good also.
Micro's are really good to get the bug, but if you wanna move onto the bigger stuff, thats a diff story!!! Sit for 6 months and learn about pitch and throttle curves, setting up gyro's, Mixing, CCPM , linkage set up and much more. Or just pay someone £20 for them to set it up for Ya
Heres my two

Ah right, nice one.
Do you do electronic repairs? I've just bought a KO Propo micro receiver, 2.4Ghz and managed to short circuit it the first time I connected it, now it's dead as a dodo looking for someone that can give me some advice about getting it repaired, I've tried RC Disco who are meant to be KO distributors, but they don't seem to want to know.

No control IS included but you can buy whats known as a bind n fly if you have a spektrum dsm2 tech transmitter, inc del and we only have 1 left on the shelves(as of yesterday when i left) would be £105.99 thats cheaper than anyone else as far as im aware.

I have 3 heli's, inc a CX2, which as said are ace, my dad is more into them and has 6-8 of them, inc a cheap chinook which he says is easier to fly, I could never get on with the minature ones.
The 3d I find a real handful as my bro has one, but he hires the hall at the rear of his to fly in with his mates, only £10 a piece for 5 hours use.
