no it wont, but i doubt ill get 7k for the fooking 3dr...

not fussed about what engine it has, as that can done later.

ideally i would like an audi powered elise, and they can be had for around 7k. of course then you have another 5k of audi engine and fitting to go lol

Your right mate, mine has been off the road 3 years now

need to get my finger out and get the car finished

To be honest I've entirely rebuilt the car again from bare chasis upwards but havent been arsed to post about it, extensive chasis mods, carbon panels, carbon seats, lightweight eveything, new diff, gearbox, prop, brakes, bodywork, engine, management etc etc. yawn yawn

You're right it does... how much would one of those engines set you back? Do the standardish ones sound like that or is it only the highly modified ones?

What sort of on the road weight are you looking at having it down to?

as someone else said though... BECS don't make for good road cars in my opinion due to the short gearing. good fun on track though.

If you want to see your mates car UTTERLY destroyed by YB engined westy.... let me know
Yeh that is my argument.

Its the light weight chassis and has a brand new fireblade engine. But I struggle to see how it could even get close to YB performance.

He has a complete hayabusa in the workshop which was bouhgt, with the intention of replacing the fireblade lump.

well we are in essex near colchester, so may have to take you up on the offer

Havent a clue - Id say cheaper than a 500bhp plus YB

Should be below 500kg now as I've taken another 50kg off the car in weight saving

It'd be more than a 500bhp YB, you've got 2 options with a quad rotor. AFAIK you can either have one made with a new bespoke rotor shaft (?) or one from a 767B. I'm sure the 767B's had 900bhp in qualifying trim or you could be truely stupid.
